Atlanta Neighborhoods
It is not hard to feel among family virtually anywhere in Atlanta, which is why so many LGBT visitors head to GayTL. Atlanta's reputation as a gay mecca was cemented during the 1970s and '80s with the rebirth of Midtown where there is a sense of LGBT community in Atlanta; although Midtown continues to be the center of gay life in Atlanta and one of the most renowned gayborhoods in the South, LGBT clubs, stores and nightlife can now be found in all Atlanta neighborhoods.
